Meet Robin, Designer of Mad Scrapper Designs.

The Mad Scrapper has been designing for TTS for a little over a year now, actually she is a plank owner of the TTS Digi Store.

The Mad Scrapper ;) gets her inspiration from so many places. She has created kits based on everything from a purse she saw a woman carrying in a store, to the colors on a yoo-hoo can! Sometimes, she will start with a "feeling" for a kit that she wants to have while at other times, a name will pop into her head (hopefully Laura M - ha!) and she will create a kit around the name. There doesn't really seem to be a method to her madness!

Let's get to know Tracy Ambowife Designs

Tracy started designing seriously in the last 6 months and only professionally during the last 3 months. She began her designing career here at Treasures to Scrap (TTS). She was thrilled to have her first opportunity to sell in the TTS digial store. She has found this community to be warm and friendly.

Tracy is easily inspired by pretty much anything, however friendships and love mostly get her creativity flowing. She reflects these greatest treasures in life by integrating these emotions into her design styles. Tracy is also inspired by challenges such as, being given a color pallette or theme and running with it. A perfect color palette can be the start of a wonderful kit!

All New Forums and Gallery!

Yep that's right! We have an all new forum and gallery set-up. Tracy and Wendi have done an absolutely fantastic job getting this going and working out the kinks. You can check the new FORUMS out now and give us a yell. We are giving it our all trying to bring the forums up to speed, but we can't do it all on our own! So while you are there check out some things we have going.... Also let's welcome back the paper team! Some very talented ladies!

Layout of the Day picks are in full swing. On October 1st, the pick was a LO called EYES OF LOVE by Princess57. October 2nd saw a LO called THE DAY STARTED by Currant7. We also had voting done for the Layout of the week and the winner is THE DAY STARTED by Currant7. Leave these scrappers some love on the forums and on their gallery pages.

There are also some picks up in the FORUMS for the Kit of the Day picks. On October 1st the choice was a fabulous paper kit.

On October 2nd the choice was Scrappin Sister by Scrapassie Designs

The challenges are in swing too! Check out the Sketch and Template Challenge and the Photo Challenge which are both up and ready for a try.

Well, with the summer months, it has been tough getting around to updating the blog!!! Now that school is back in session, look for some fun happenings at TTS.

The month is almost over. Where has it gone? Hopefully you have all be so wrapped up in the challenges in the forums that you didn't realize how far into the month we are. There is still time to get those entries into the galleries for the challenges. Come on! Show us your creative side! If you don't remember the way to the challenge threads, just head over to the Treasures To Scrap forums and scroll down to the section called challenge coast.

Check out the Fishing Cove threads for the QOTD and SBQOTD. Never know what you are going to find there. You should also check out the LOTD. Post Holiday Wrap-Up

Hopefully everyone has had a wonderful holiday weekend. With any luck, everyone was out grilling and socializing and having a great time! The forums are busy right now. We have new challenges that started on the first and some awesome kits highlighted. Not to mention the new July Treasure Chest is out and we have a new featured designer this month!

The July Treasure Chest is absolutely packed with all kinds of summery stuff. There are some dark colors, some bright colors, and a whole lot of depth!

The Featured Designer this month is Teriann Hanks. She has some absolutely fabulous products in her store. She even does templates for those of us who are a little creatively challenged sometimes. My favorite kit in her store is Liberty, and it is also the Featured Kit of the Day.

There are several challenges going on right now so you should head on over to the forums and check them out! Tropical Paradise, Where the Sand Meets the Sea, Sea Scapes, The Barrier Reef and Beyond, and Template Island all have brand new challenges for brand new months!

Congratulations to Eve1972 who won the LOTW for June 30 to July 4. She had such a cute page called Miz FI-Fi LaRue. Very gorgeous. You gotta check it out here.

Birthday Celebration
If you were able to attend the Birthday Bash last Sunday, you know how much fun we had!!! There were times when we did not know if we were coming or going and there were hot potatoes being thrown all over the place!!! It is not too late to join in the challenges that are being posted for the Birthday Bash. If you would like to try a team challenge, we have the 3-Legged Race which found us baking a cake and handing off to our partner to decorate. For those who cannot do the team challenge, the individual Gunny Sack Challenge is available. And, if you feel up to the challenge, you can do both!!! Also, there are random individaul challanges throughout the month including a brag book exchange using the June Treasure Chest!!! Well, the first thing to say is HAPPY BIRTHDAY TTS! That's right, it's our birthday this month. You should really come and join us! There are some awesome challenges going on this month with a major summery birthday theme. You just gotta check them out! We have Template Island hosted by Fabella, Tropical Paradise hosted by Ohio_Scrapbook_Queen, The Barrier Reef and Beyond hosted by Kate, and Sea Scapes hosted by KKStock. These are really great challenges and they are sure to help you clear up any creativity block! Plus you get a token each time you complete a challenge. For more about tokens check HERE.

Happy Birthday TTS!!!!
June is the Birthday Month for TTS!!! And, to celebrate, there are all sorts of fun things planned for the month. First, mark your calendars for June 8 for the Birthday Bash kick-off chats. There will be a series of chats starting at 8:15 p.m. EST. You can find out more about the chat schedule in the forums.

In addition, you will notice a special section in the forums for the 3-Legged Race and the Gunny Sack Race. The 3-Legged Race is a team challenge, so pick your partner and read the details in the forum. The Gunny Sack Race is geared towards individual participation. Both of these will kick off as part of the Birthday Bash on June 8th. It looks like quite the month at TTS!!!

As June approaches not only does my mind turn to those hot days of summer, but I can't help but get excited about the upcoming month at TTS - I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to the Birthday Month!!!! It is hard to believe it is Friday already!!! I have no idea where this week has gone!!! And to think it is already Memorial Day Weekend - graduation was last week here and the kids are out of school. I'm also starting to feel really old, my dh and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary this week - and they told us it would never last - LOL!!!

Well, since the last time I updated the Treasures To Scrap Blog, there are been some big changes!!! First, you will notice that the blog is in the process of getting a new spring look!! The colors have changed a bit and some of the links have been updated. This is an on-going process, so look for other changes in days to come.

There have been a number of designers who have joined TTS. And as such, the designer blinkie that many of you sport has been updated!!! You do not have to make any changes to your siggies, the new blinkie automatically replaced the old one!!! If you are not wearing the TTS Designer Blinkie, you can snag it here!!!

If you have been away for a while, you will definitely want to check out the New Releases at TTS. With the birth of my first grandchild, I have been a little "pre-occupied" and I did not realize until today how many fun, new products were in the digital store. When I got ready to create the ad for the new releases this week, I had no idea how busy the TTS designers had been!!! There is just SSSOO many new things in the store, you will just have to see it for yourself.

It's hard to believe it's Monday again already. Last week saw some new challenges in the Treasures To Scrap forums. You really need to check them out. There are element challenges and heritage challenges plus many many more. Each challenge you complete will earn you a token which gives you a chance to win a prize at the end of the month.

The LOTW winner has been announced as well. You voted, and the winner is.... Kimberly with her page titled "Time for Changes". This is such a fun page. Definitely a good choice. Congratulations to all the other who were selected for LOTD last week. You all did wonderful jobs!

The past week also showed us some wonderful new products in the store. Check out the ad so wonderfully created by my fellow CT member Kabra.

Now on to one of my favorite things. The Featured Digital Designer. This month the designer is Scrappin Nut Designs. Let me tell you this lady does such a wonderful job on the designs. I absolutely loved working with her kits. I think my absolute favorite I have been able to work with so far is the Royal Beauty Mega Pack. This kit has so much depth it's amazing. I can't wait for you to see what I have done with it.

You definitely need to swing by the Scrappin Nut Designs gallery of TTS and see some of the other wonderful things that people have created using her designs. The trip will be well worth it and you will probably love them as much as I do when you use the designs yourself.

The last note we have today is a reminder for the chat we host this Thursday. The chat starts at 9PM eastern time and will feature a bingo game. Not only that, you get a chance to win prizes and are guaranteed one token just for showing up! How can you beat that?! Hope to see you there!

I don't know about where you are, but the weather is really nasty here today - we even had some sleet and snow this morning!!! That's right gang! It's Monday! The site has had a major face-lift and wow does it RAWK!!! You have got to check it out! The Treasures To Scrap forums are rockin' and some serious action is going on!

There have been some changes to the way the challenges happen. Now they are posted once a month and can be completed at any time during the month. Check out the new thread for the full instructions.

The April Template Challenge by Fabella is up and running. Let me tell you this.... if you have never tried this one you gotta do it now. The template is amazing. Have a look at what I did with it using the April Treasure Chest available in the digi store:

The Colors of Paradise Challenge is in full swing also. Every month we are challenged to use a color scheme. This month it is any colors of the tropics. Check out what I created using Sunfire's A Fairy Tale Kit:

The April Hybrid Technique Challenge is also up and running. This month's challenge is heat embossing. Check it out! There is also a digi challenge for techniques. The April technique is clustering and the challenge is to use at least 20 elements and/or papers on one layout. Check out what I did for this challenge using Laura Burger's True Affection:

A new challenge has come out starting this month. It's the Photography Challenge. This month we are going to be up close and personal with our subjects. Gotta check it out!

I have no idea where this week has gone!!! Maybe it is because it has been kind of gloomy the past couple of days. But, things are in full swing at Treasures To Scrap!!! Another Friday!!! While yesterday was beautiful here - sunny and warm, today is cold and cloudy. Just to the north of us, they have had significant snow and just to the south of us is extreme flooding. I heard this morning that the school where my daughter works will likely have water standing in it later today - it is such a beautiful school!!!

We would like to congratulate yesterday's Layout of the Day created by Melly. Her "love the spring" has all the soft colors of spring and is just simply adorable!!! Later today, the voting will begin for this weeks Layout of the Week vote. You can see the picks of the week and submit your vote for you favorite in the LOTD MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY thread in the TTS Forum. The winner will be announced on Monday.

Do you have a layout that needs a little extra lovin'? Why not take part in the Treasured Praise thread in the TTS Forum. It only takes a second and I find by looking through the gallery and leaving comments, I can get all sorts of inspiration for future projects!!!

Well, it's Monday again. I can't believe another weekend has come and gone already. The forums were hopping over the weekend at Treasures To Scrap.

The LOTW was chosen. A big Congratulations to Sassy who won with her two page tribute to Jeff Healey. Make sure you check this one out and leave her some love!

The Monday Scraplift Challenge is up now. This week's challenge is to select one of Nancy Jones's Creations and make it your own. This is an awesome gallery so you should definitely check it out. She is absolutely amazing. If nothing else, you will most definitely find some inspiration there.

The Spring Fling Game is rockin' as well! There are a few more eggs out there now making around four to find. There were a few challenges added as well. Remember, you get points for every challenge you complete and every egg you find. The winner is gonna get an awesome RAK from the store. You gotta check this one out. All egg found entries and challenge entries have to be in by midnight March 30 so there is still lots of time. Just don't wait to long to get in on it.

This month's featured digital designer is Deanna Patterson. The most recent kit I used of hers was the Playful Kit. I absolutely loved this. It has such a fun feel to it. The pastels are fabulous. Perfect kit to use for Easter too. Check out the previews of the kit below!

It is finally the end of the week and the weather was absolutely gorgeous here today - low 60's!!! But, tomorrow, there is snow in the forecast - someday, maybe spring will come and stay a while.

Finally, I wanted to share a page I did this week using Fotosusu's A New Day. One technique that I used on the swirl behind the filmstrip is the blending modes in Photoshop. By using the blending modes along with the opacity level, you can really alter the appearance of an element!!!

Wow, it was finally a sunny Saturday here and we dodged the snow this time around!!! While it looked like an early spring day, the temperature was still pretty cold.

Finally, I would like to leave you with a little tip. When I first started doing digi-scrapping, someone asked about a page I had in my album, I had remembered doing the page and was able to find it quickly, but for the life of me, I could not remember what I had used on it. Starting that day, I began putting the list of credits including the font in the file info section of my page. In Photoshop / Photoshop Elements, you can access this by File --> File Info. I always put my credits in the Caption portion of the Description area!!!! That way, it is stored as a part of the psd page itself!!!! This neat little tip has saved me so much time in the past!!!!

Yesterday's LOTD was a truly amazing page by Giselab called Daddy's Girl. This is such a touching page so be sure to stop by and leave some love for her.

Finally, I wanted to share a page that has not yet been posted in the gallery at TTS. I created this page using the March Treasure Chest. My youngest daughter has always been facinated with The Ducks - not the kind that quack, but the amphibious vehicles!! When she was little, we would ask where she wanted to go on vacation - she would vote for the Wisconsin Dells every time!!! In this particular photo, the driver let her sit in his chair after we got back - the highlight of her trip!!! I thought the March Treasure Chest had the perfect blend of papers and elements to scrap this!!! And, don't forget about the March Treasure Chest Mini-Kit available free in the TTS Digital Store!!!!

that it's already the fourth day of March? I can't. Where has the time gone? March is in full swing at Treasures To Scrap and we have some exciting things planned and some that are already in the works.

The first thing to check out is the new March Treasure Chest. This amazing kit is a collaboration made by the designers of the TTS Store. If you love the styles but are like me and can't decide what to buy, this is the kit for you! It has a little bit of everything. Like grunge? It's in there. Like pastels? There too! Addicted to elements of all kinds? Yep, they're there too! This month there is even a free Treasure Chest Mini Kit to go with it. Best of all, this huge kit is on sale until the 5th of March! If you only buy one thing this month, take my advice and snag this one!

I love this kit so much it's not even funny! It has such a wide range of uses you'll never get tired of it. Here's a page I made using the March Treasure Chest.

The Layout of the Month for February vote is in progress as we speak. Swing by the forums and cast your vote. There are some amazing pages to choose from. Better hurry though! Voting ends today at midnight!

The Treasured Praise Game is in full swing as well. This game is great for inspiration. And it's so simple to play. All you have to do is check out the Treasured Praise Thread and post a link to something you have created and are proud of. If you like, you can post a link to something that has caught your eye instead. Then leave some love for the person who posted before you. If you have time, leave some love for everyone else who plays. Today, I started the thread with a creation of my own. I made it using the Trevor's Treasures Kit. By the way, if you haven't checked out this kit yet, you certainly should. It's huge and the kit proceeds are for a touching cause.

Today's challenge is the Tuesday Ad Challenge. Each week an ad will be featured and you make it your own by taking pieces, styles, or the whole layout and scrapping a page with it. Great inspiration. If you missed yesterday's challenge you can still get in on it until next Monday in the thread for the Monday Scraplift Challenge.

We also have some great games this month in honor of the upcoming holidays! The Spring Fling Game gives many challenges throughout the month of March. It's a great chance to win prizes and get some EGGciting inspiration from our CT. There's something new all the time!

Well, it is hard to believe that it is March already!!!! With the start of a new month, there are several things to check out at Treasures to Scrap.

First, the March TTS Newsletter Treasured Times, was in my inbox bright and early this morning!!! What a fabulous new look and so full of scrapping inspiration. Remember that there are now two newsletters published each month at TTS - one comes out the beginning of the month and the second is a mid-month issue!!

Secondly, the March Treasure Chest is up and available in the store!!! Keep in mind, this huge collaboration kit is available at a 25% discount through March 5th so hurry on over to the TTS store and check out this month's offering!!!! And be sure to pick up the March TTS Treasure Chest Mini Kit freebie for this month while you are there!!!

The March TTS Treasure Chest has a beautiful color palette and a marvelous collection of items to use on a wide variety of projects. Here is a page I created using March's Treasure Chest.

Over the weekend, voting was held for the Layout of the Week (LOTW) from those layouts in the gallery that were selected as Layout of the Day for that week. Congratulations to Omega021's Reach for The Stars for being voted LOTW!!!!! Please feel free to head over to the gallery and leave her some lovin'!!!

And, since a new month has started, voting is now underway for Layout of the Month (LOTM). If you would like to cast your vote, visit the LOTM thread in the forum to see the wonderful LOTW pages from February and vote before midnight Tuesday!!!

Speaking of loving, be sure to check out the Treasured Praises thread in the TTS Forum. Each day, a new thread will be created. You can either post the link to one of your own pages or a link to a gallery page that caught your eye. Once you have posted, then follow the link in the post above yours and leave a comment in the gallery. If you have time, follow all of the threads above yours. I have found this is a great way to get inspiration for a project and I am always looking for new ideas!!!!

Another great way to get inspiration for a new project is joining in on some of the challenges at TTS. For example, each day, a new challenge is posted in the forum - Monday's challenge is always a scraplift. So check the forum daily for something to spark you creativity!!!! Plus, it is not too late to join in the Spring Fling Game this month at TTS!!!

Whew....Jamie here...I have been trying get here to post since yesterday. I am a day late but hey I'm here.......I hope that everyone is having a great weekend. Just a few things to post about today.

Kacee's KOTD yesterday, wow another great one. See her thread here and chck out the awesome kit that she picked a beautiful kit but the oh so talented Fabella.....

Happy Monday Everyone! It was a great week last week, and there were so many great layouts posted in our gallery! I just love seeing what everyone posts, so many ideas from our members! We had our Layout of the Week for last week and I want to congratulate Gisela B for her layout "Love" and also a congratulations to Meisie for her layout "Dream On". Both ladies tied for the Layout of the week, so big congrats ladies! This week, please stop by and congratulate the layouts that have been chosen for Layout of the Day everyday, Monday through Friday.

We didn't have any layouts linked up for the weekend blog challenge, I would still love to see what you can create! So many new things going on at TTS, you are going to want to watch our blog to keep up on all the happnenings at TTS.

We are having weekend blog only challenges with prizes. These will not be posted in the forums so make sure you read through this post to find out the details...

Everyone at TTS would like to thank EVERYONE that was involved with WST for the month of January. SPECIAL thanks goes out to Kate who was the captain.. Your help and particpation was awesome...

Today we are highlighting Kit of the Day and Kacee has picked another great one A Fairy Tale by Sunfire the creative team is working with this one also so you will get to see lots of yummy projects using this kit. .
